It’s safe to say, that teachers sometimes have a hard time keeping the attention of the kids in their classroom for all eight hours. Loring Community School in Minneapolis has found a way to keep the kids engaged by keeping their minds active.

The kids are learning the basics, math, reading, and science but now they are throwing something called a power charger into the mix. The Power Charger is part of a larger program called Health Powered Kids from Allina.

Kids are asked to sit for so long and they get tired and bored. The Power Chargers get their bodies moving and their minds active and within 5 minutes, they are ready to go again.

Anyone can sign up to use the program for free. For more information on Health Powered Kids, click here
