Free & Reduced School lunches: Fill out your Application for Educational Benefits to receive free or reduced price lunch and discounts on other programming.

Outside Resources:

Every Meal Counts: (click to view informational video) Weekend food that scholar's bring home in backpacks.  To sign up: Call Loring @ 612-668-2060.  

Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 3355 4th Street N., will distribute free fresh food on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10 a.m.-noon. There are no prequalifications. Everyone is welcome.

 The Camden Collective and the Sanneh Foundation sponsor a weekly free food pickup at Salem Lutheran Church, 4150 Dupont Ave. N., each Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Call 612-521- 3644 for more information. Walkups are welcome. 

Pillsbury United Communities offers free dinners every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Oak Park Community Center, 1701 Oak Park Ave. N. Meals are currently to go during the pandemic, but PUC hopes to re-open its indoor sit-down space soon.

Provides weekly meals to families with health issues - living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, MS, ALS, ESRD, CHF, COPD, or have been impacted by COVID-19..

Other Help:

The Healing Place: The Healing Place is back at Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 621 Elwood Ave. N. It is committed to healing trauma in the Black community by helping to break the cycle of oppression. It is a safe space if you need a prayer, a conversation or just a place to sit. Every Wednesday from 1 to 5 p.m.

UNITED WAY 2-1-1  

United Way receives information from organizations that are providing Holiday food, toys or gifts.  Call 2-1-1, toll free at 800-543-7709 or 651-291-0211. You can also text your zip code to 898-211*.  They will search for programs within your zip code.


SALVATION ARMY TOY SHOP:
For children up to age 14. Registration for the 2022 Twin Cities Toy Shop begins Nov. 2nd. ...You may register to participate in our Toy Shop by filling out our registration form. Please note that forms are provided in EnglishSpanish and Hmong.

Our Twin Cities Toy Shop hotline (651-746-3595) will be open during weekday business hours for registration and to answer questions.
